Car out of waranty and not fit for purpose

Hi trigger39, if you still have the car and are intent on keeping it, I'd get a warranty on it with someone like warranty direct, but you'll have to check whether that warranty would cover the turbo, alternator, engine etc. Aside from that I don't think there's anything you can do.0

It's a vectra 1.9sri cdti auto0

Your the retard, he's right that turbos can fail if the car's not driven properly, e.g. if you drive long distance across the country (which you do) and then switch the engine off when you get to the destination without letting it idle to let the turbo cool then your asking for problems. The car is out of warranty and its you thats been responsible for all its mileage, servicing and care so its down to you to fix it, if you can't afford to then its your problem.0

You're a bit of a twonk really aren't you Trigger.
You've done excessive mileage over a very short period of time, parts are going to wear out because of this. If you do 3 times the average mileage you're going to have replace parts 3 times more often.
Knowing how much travelling you do you should have done your homework and got yourself a Volvo/BMW/Merc, not a piddling Vectra
I hope calling people here names just because they're not telling you what you want to hear makes you, and your car, feel better.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
