pooh - have you thought of going down the 'well worn shoes' route on ebay? Valli can fill you in ;). Seriously, if people are prepared to pay for it, then you might as well take their money - and you can get the flylady community to declutter all their old shoes to you as well!.

Just got back in from town and read this. It is wierd but as I was drinking my cocoa last night before I went to sleep I thought of the exact same thing!!!! I can sort out all types of well worn things in this house. That can be next weeks plan.

I won't be around on line now until Sunday night or even Monday. We have sorted enough cash from the kids to get us to and from the wedding. Some of them have tried to get the cash together for us. It is what they owe us after all:)

Thank you for all your support. PLAN B next week to source some more cash!!
Good luck for Monday holly if I don't get backuntil then.

I can't get on with much as I am waiting for the garage to call so I can go and pick up OHs car. I am going to see if I can finish level 1 from yesterday so I am off to try and do a lot of decluttering.

I've just had a phone call saying i've been shortlisted for an interview on Monday:j:eek:.

Congratulations Holly! You'll be fine. An interview is just a chat after all...

I've got an appointment to give blood tomorrow lunchtime. Other than that, I've done a bit of diary updating and made some lists of what I need people to do in the house, but otherwise not much. I'm really tired. I probably need to go for a walk, but it's cold & windy outside! I'm hoping someone will feel like joining me so I can motivate myself.

I really do need to get some stuff done though!

Mind you it appears to be profitable...one lady claims she's a waitress and puts them on e bay and promises she will continue to wear them until the auction ends...and the feedbacks...whoa!
I must confess I am somewhat intrigued by these promises 'to clean them in line with e bay rules'

Ok, so that wasn't too difficult. All my clutter now has a home, although they aren't necessarily tidy, I will save that job for tonight or tomorrow when I finish work. I am looking forward to our bedroom being a relaxing haven again.

I think I can get our room finished in about 1 1/2 hours tomorrow, then I can try and make a good start on the spare and VERY neglected room.

Meant to be going to visit OHs dad in hospital again tonight so other bits and bobs will probably have to wait. He is meant to be going home tomorrow so we shouldn't be so emotionally drained all the time. Although he was diagnosed with vascular dementia yesterday so we will have to see how things progress. I did a lot of reading up about it last night and at least everything makes sense now.

Just back from work, lots to do - in laws are coming on Sunday. FIL is in late stages of cancer so probably the last time they will come to visit so a bitter sweet one for us all I think, he loves our house and as an ex builder he has really useful ideas so everywhere needs to be tidy so he can see what we have done. I can see a day of 15 mins per room tomorrow, I haven't touched upstairs this week after the building works.

Triker - we ended up having ham, egg and chips yesterday too. That thread should have a health warning!

    Anyone up for a 4.45 - 5.15 challenge?
