  • I am completely exhausted, but have got dw on, set fire, put wm on and unloaded.

    Hope everyone is ok.

Good first day with the kids, no-one cried or wet themselves, including me!

  • Triker, glad your consultation went well

Princess Jane, glad your smear came back clear

Blimus, hope the weather clears up for your camping trip. It was incredibly windy here this morning but the wind seems to be dying down and we have dazzling sunshine now, it looks like a lovely evening. Glad your car has passed its MOT what a relief!

Holly glad you have an interview on Monday, I’m sure you will be brilliant

Hugs AJ, hope your OH’s dad is ok

Hugs Hex, hope your FIL enjoys his visit to your house

Mudbath, I’d wondered how Stripes was getting on, good to hear she’s doing well

I'm loving my nice clean and tidy house! DH came home and helped by cleaning the bathroom (first time in living memory, although he didn't do the bath) and by hiding the washing up! The LR looks lovely! Very pleased!

Had a lovely time with our visitors, they were from our congregation and came round to see how I am and give me some encouragement from the Scriptures. It was really nice and I feel very encouraged and happy now. Looking forward to the Bible meeting tonight.

Hope you all have a nice evening xx (just off to admire my star!)

Good first day with the kids, no-one cried or wet themselves, including me!

grateful - I am still giggling over that!

Inset day for me today, and I'm feeling much better about teaching a mixture of languages to Year 7 for the next six weeks - none of which I speak - as my Head of Dept has supplied complete lesson plans with all the links! I have been panicking for weeks over that...

I've done one load of washing, the kids' room are started and will be finished over the weekend, as will the bathroom.

I may pop on later, but if I don't have time, then please may I ask for lots of thoughts and virtual handholding tomorrow, especially between 10.30 and about 11.15? It's Mum's funeral, and I am absolutely dreading it.

Isn't it funny, I commented last week that everyone seemed to get so much stuff done in their HHC's and I didn't know how they managed it! It seems they are what is helping me get everything done.

    In this one I have:

Removed all the things from the shelves in the bathroom, cleaned the shelves and replaced everything tidily

Cleaned the top of the bathroom cabinet

Tidied the stuff in the bathroom cabinet

Cleaned, tidied and sorted everything in the larder cupboard in the kitchen

Emptied my work bag of sports stuff to be washed and stuff from lunch.

and in my last one I found some jewellry that I thought I had lost about a year ago!

Now all I have to do is today's tasks which will be tomorrow, clean the walls in the bathroom (the tiles have already been done) and anything else that pigpen puts up for tomorrow.

The house is looking great and I got a huge hug and kiss from OH when he came in because the bedroom is finally tidy from all my clutter.

Thanks flying ladies for your inspiration, I am not far off having everything sorted and clean

    (I am such an innocent...)
Mind you it appears to be profitable...one lady claims she's a waitress and puts them on e bay and promises she will continue to wear them until the auction ends...and the feedbacks...whoa!
I must confess I am somewhat intrigued by these promises 'to clean them in line with e bay rules'

    Eh??? What do you mean?
