And Greenbee. Okay I will not cancel home insurance. I still have life insurance too.
Glad to hear it... although I'd keep quiet about the life insurance if I were you ;) Seriously, its good to have it, as you don't want your family to be in difficulties if anything happens to the house, or to you. It's worth checking that you aren't over-insured, but if you've been through everything I'm sure you've done that.

Good luck with it all. You're doing everything possible - and try to look on the bright side of getting rid of the books... at least its decluttering! Hopefully one day you'll be able to replace things if you really miss them. Well done for being so practical in your approach.

    In my HHC I;

    - emptied the dogs
    - put a washing load on
    - found the school PE kits that i'd put in a 'safe' place
    - thrown out two white polo shirts that were too small and filthy (not thrown out but put in textile bag)
    - decluttered sweets left over from various days out and told the children to eat them and what's left is being thrown out (can't stand having half empty tubes / packets of stuff hanging around for months!!)
    - put a belt away
    - decluttered DH's stuff to his study (this was made up of; a piece of wood, a hand brush, a work pass, a file, two opened letters with ripped envelopes still in a pile, two cameras, headphones he's fixing, 14 tools and an odd sock. Bless him - not!!

Going to relax until 5 and then do another HHC xx

  • Thanks Rosepink - recipe would be good xx
    Sweet and sour pork chops
    Serves four

    4 pork chops
    4 tbsps clear honey
    2 tbsps soy sauce
    1 tbsp tomato ketchup
    1 tbsp wine vinegar
    1 tbsp tomato puree
    salt and pepper
    few drops Tabasco sauce
    juice of one small orange

Place chops in a shallow ovenproof dish. Mix all the ingredients and pour over the chops. Bake uncovered in oven (190 Celcius, Gas Mark 5), basting occasionally, until cooked for about 30-40 minutes.

    Serve with rice.

I love recipes like that where you just chuck all the ingredients in together and let it get on with it! Hope you like it

Spose I'd better go and sort my dinner out and do some things!
