I'm certain it's for the best. I did say to her on Monday night that she deserves better then kicked myself for saying that. But last night, she said I was right to say it and it was true. She's calm this morning - has just left for work.

If you can't say things like that to your daughter out of concern for her who can you say it to? I am sure there is someone out there for her who will treat her as she deserves to be treated and bring her much happiness.
Pigpen Glad you have met someone and really pleased he cleans. Now tell us where you found him so we can all get one:D

I have done some filing, paid a credit card bill and set up a DD for it (which I thought I'd done 3 years ago when I first got the card... but they've clearly forgotten that )

back to the filing, as I'm not going to bother with proper cleaning if the attic is being done tomorrow...
  • I went to get a drink of water and the water has turned white! I've been running the tap in the bathroom sink to try to make it go back to normal but it's all scummy and bubbly. Nasty! It's made me get out the brita water filter we got at the weekend - DH said I should have one as I drink loads of water and hte water round here doesn't seem to be of good quality, sometimes it smells of poo. I won't set it up until the water is better again tho.

I've washed up tho, the hot water is fine so that was ok.

THe trouble is that I'm terribly thirsty and the options are manky scummy water or beer!
