Nothing done from the list yet :o but I have set up a sponsorship page for the walk I'm doing this weekend and sent out a link. I think I've added it to FB, but I'm not entirely sure

Suppose I should start doing something useful now!

I was halfway through the bedroom when I came over all wobbly - so I'm having a quick break on here instead!

Rain has stopped and the sun's out - hope it stays there as DD has a barbecue planned for this evening.

DS1 out on driving lesson, and DS2 lying on the floor playing on the PS3. I'll declutter him in a minute I think.;)

:coffee::coffee::coffee:anyone? Then I'll do a bit more in the bedroom. Or I could list the pile of garden magazines on freecycle, which counts towards the bedroom, and means I can stay here??

just have to list the spare daybed on eBay, sell a few old evening dresses and that's that!
Woo-ooo what a posh bird you must be, not flogging your tiara then? :rotfl:
I've got a couple of bits of hand sewing to do
Oh yes that's something else to add to my list, need to sew up my pink bra so I can put my black/purple one in the wash

On the flying front I managed to get a chair stuck in my bedroom door (have to climb over it to get to bed)
That made me laugh, how on earth did you do that? :D

Valli, well done on getting a refund on the fishing set, that’s a good phrase for me to remember: not fit for purpose Grateful I will also remember your phrase: not of satisfactory quality

Soappie hugs for your DD and for you

Twilight well done on the progress you have made in your house and with your mental health, it’s good the doc thinks you are doing well. I saw my psychiatrist today, he wants me to work harder at going out and walking about outside on my own – I’m agoraphobic so find going outside really hard but he says if I don’t try to do it I’ll never make any progress. So that’s my goal to work on. If I can build up my confidence doing that, it should help the depression too. We’ll get there, we can all support each other, Jinky and FFP too

Jinky hope your gran is ok, does she have a dosset box for her pills? The pharmacist or a relative can do them so that all her tablets for the day are in the same place and then it’s easy to see what to take on Monday morning, or Tuesday evening or whatever. Also it makes it easier for rellies to see if some tablets have been missed…HTH

Dusty, I tried so hard to get a smurf avatar but MSE wouldn’t let me do it, it kept saying invalid file but I really want to get one, sleepy smurf or greedy smurf

Flying: have decluttered a go ahead bar, going to do some tidying up for a bit

    Have a lovely day L-L

Bird-proofing is being done tomorrow morning... should I be relieved or worried that he can fit it in at such short notice
Well, I expect he is relieved, people just can't seem to get things done anymore, so I bet he was happy to get your phonecall! DH is finding work is drying up, he's got some work but he's not as busy as he'd like to be. People can't afford "extras" like getting their hedge cut, it's sad. Hope your man who is coming to sort your birds out has enough work but doesn't sound like it if he's able to come so quickly

Hi ladies i am a newbie to flying have just discovered her wondrous site and have really enjoyed putting together my contorl journal, hwever as usual i am procrastinating and insted of ding things i am writing and thinking about them!

I have however implemented the morning and before bed routine and am loving having a clean sink and bathroom everyday and not worrying about answering the door in my pj's!!!!

My bedroom however, is such a tip i want to cry everytime i go in there and can't even see where to start!!!

It doesn't help that it is my sisters wedding on sat and she told me yesterday she likes neither of the childrens outfits which meant running round town frantically yesterday and having to do the same today.

I am also walking round not in lace up shoes but extremely high heels trying to 'learn' how to walk in my bridesmaid shoes!!!!

So hello ladies i look forward to reading your pears of wisdom.#Love lucy xxx

  • Morning all. Had a lovely rest this morning, DH got home at midnight last night after getting a puncture. RAC took two hours to get to him, so the lemon sole I spent all afternoon preparing spoiled of course which was a bit upsetting. DH says I've been stressed out this past week so he made me breakfast in bed which was lovely.

    Gonna start the housework soon.

    Morning all (just)!!

I got a new laptop!!! woohooo.

    Flying

    WMx2
    TDx1
    Dishes washed
DS1 school tops in to (hopefully) soak off the stains
    Worktops cleared and wiped
    Kitchen floor swept
Shoes sorted and those not used to be moved upstairs next time I go up
Living room floor tidied and swept
    Coffee table decluttered

Off to make some dinner for the kids in a bit, then going to do the bathroom. Everything just getting a clear and a wipe so its presentable as I have no chance of catching up with the lists. Will still cross off tho to see how much i do get done hehe.

Haha, I wish! They're both bridesmaid dresses that I've never worn since the weddings, been stashing them but I'm never gonna wear them so it's time to get rid of them.
