Yeah I do too  I check right after I check the ebay daily deals heheGotta Love The Freebies :beer:0 -
What changes are these?
Also most people that I can see on this thread have had positive experiences, and only a few had negatives, all I can say is that I have never had an issue with them at all, not with the free or the ordered books, so just because less than 1% of their monthly sales have had negative feedback is not a reason to try to stop other people from using them. If you have a problem with the book, then read the returns policy on the website and you will see that they can be returned if faulty. If something you had paid for was faulty, you would send it back, and the same applies for free items.
I'm struggling to see why you are being so defensive- all I did was point out that they are probably clearing damaged stock (perhaps imperfect/return stock would have been a better phrase) and that you can get the same new graded book for a few pence more elsewhere- (also play.com often have them cheaper, since sellers can set their own price more than amazon).
Since people have been recieveing substandard books and others saying that they are ordering them as presents I don't think this is a unfair thing to point out.
There is nothing wrong with clearing damaged stock, and I have no adgenda here- I don't sell books, and I've yet to buy from this company (the one book I did want play had it cheaper so I bought it from there). This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
The only reason I am being 'defensive' is because I don't think its fair for someone to essentially bad mouth a company that is trying to do something nice for people by offering a free book of the day, a lot of people don't have any problems, and I feel that by putting their negative feedback up you were trying to make people not buy from them. They have a returns policy so if there is a problem people can return things.
I don't see why you were attacking them when you clearly hadn't tried to send the book back and get another one in its place or a refund of the postage.
Bangzo seem to be a good company that are just trying to keep reading alive in everyone! I don't see that as a bad thing, do you?Gotta Love The Freebies :beer:0 -

The sellers I am talking about on amazon and play who after fees are making less than Bangzo are they also trying to keep the reading alive in everyone?
No- they are trying to make money out of a product. It doesn't cost that much to send the paperbacks (especially after their bulk discount) and the heavier books are a loss leader to build brand loyalty.
I'm not bad mouthing anyone- this website is about consumer rights and moneysaving, and since you can get some of these books cheaper elsewhere, and someone had a book with 11 pages missing I think this information isn't irrelevent. Something like that should not get sent out- I don't care about the return policy- it should never see a customer in that condition.
If you really think this is about being nice then you really need to find reality and soon. This is my opinion. Excuse me, a personal attack against me isn't fair, I live within reality, and all I can see is a company that is sending out books for the price of postage, I don't understand how you can get something cheaper than free, but if you can then please let me know!! You obviously don't realise that other people are entitled to their opinion. They can't open every single book that they send out, and if a few are damaged internally then how can they know without looking at every single page? If the cover is damaged then I agree it shouldn't be sent out, but as I say, the same thing could happen on a book you have paid £50 for and you would use the returns policy.
my last word to you is going to be, how can you make money on something that is free?Gotta Love The Freebies :beer:0 -

I've just bought the PCs for Dummies book. I'm pretty IT-literate but I suspect that it will be a handy book to have on hand or to give to someone else.
I'm not too fussed at the condition it will be in, as I can't really expect perfection for the cost of P & P.0 -
