Talk Talk versus Wanadoo

Hi, I have just approached Wanadoo to get a MAC code so I can transfer to Talk Talk as per moneysaving expert latest e-mail advice. They advised me that Talk Talk cannot cut over until July/August and that once they use the MAC code, existing broadband would cease.
However, Wanadoo have credited me with a free month's subscription to carry me over to when they say they have new competitive packages arriving (1 June).
One month's subscription saved with no lock-in and still with the option to change if Talk Talk still better than Wanadoo.

Sounds interesting.Im a Wanadoo customer out of the 12 month contract.I got a reduction of £3.00 per month for 6 months to match AOL's deal of £14.99 per month for first six months.
If there are more competitive packages arriving soon, i would hang fire as TALKTALK have'nt got a great reputation for customer service and there is that 18month contract plus £29.99 connection fee..........Neil0 -
Wanadoo are shortly to rebrand as Orange, so I wouldn't be surprised to see deals including mobiles and broadband.

I am contracted to Wanadoo till 20th May 2006, I have told Wanadoo that I will cancel my membership fee of 17.99 unless I was made an offer that I cannot refuse. So far, Wanadoo have offered me £17.99 package with Wireless, before there was a £4 fee for "hiring" Wireless livebox, I turned that down as I felt it was not a cheaper package. On Sunday, I phoned and I was offered 14.99 package with 1mbps speed. At present, I have not been happy with any of those offers and I will be cancelling on 20th May, although I will give Wanadoo one more chance to make an offer. The only change I have noticed from Wanadoo, since TalkTalk free broadband, is cancelling the £4 fee for the hire of Wireless Livebox.0
