Aviva don't seem to cover in Northern Ireland anymore though, which is a bit odd, because my sister is insured with them, but they always have "not applicable in Northern Ireland" on their offers![/QUOTE]

@saffmonster
It is possible to restore your shuffle to factory settings.
The information is in this link:-
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1481
I have a generation 2 shuffle, when I restored mine I used some software from apple which 'flashed' it. But I can't find the link to it any more.
Perhaps using the method in my link above is safest.
I'd love to be able to restore it, but my comp blue screens as soon as plug it in.0 -

Thanks for the help everyone, but it appears there is nothing wrong with my iPod.
Apparently I had a Microsoft update which corrupted something, making something else not work and therefore making my comp think my iPod was some kind of other corruption... or something along those lines.:p
The update has been uninstalled and everything seems ok for now:D0 -

Oh I wasn't saying it was your fault! Sorry if it sounded like that. I was just having a little moan when you mentioned you worked for them!:DNorthern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
