Can anyone recommend a hotel in Amsterdam or a central location for us to look at? We are planning on going for a weekend in about six weeks time.

How much do you want to spend?
Do you need en suite or are you prepared to share a communal bathroom/toilet?
The site I generally use to book is:-
www.easytobook.com
Do a date search then there is a drop down menu, I always stay close to Centraal station as it is so convenient.0 -
En suite definately. Obviously we would rather not spend too much on a hotel, but if it is central then we are flexible.MFW 2026 No. 7 £1614.62/£5000

I have booked a trip to amsterdam in nov and booked my hotel through Hotwire. $96 per night for the movenpick hotel worked out at £122 ish for 2 nights not bad for a good 4 star hotel, good tripadvisor reviews.
Shows up on hotwire as Amsterdam east hotel with the following Amenities: Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Golf, Tennis0 -
The Flying Pig is pretty good.0

The Hotel Old Quarter has en suite rooms, walls are thin though... but I liked it, the Hotel Terminus is great but too expensive now.
I go 2 or 3 times a year and am back in december so if I can help I will.
See my previous post for the hotel booking site I use, always check around as they are not always cheapest but usually are competetive.0 -
