No signal with Orange
Hi, i was wondering if you could give me some advice, i have a contract with Orange. Ive been with them 3 years and have about 9 months left on my current contract. For the past month or so i had no signal at home or at work hardly. I'll get the odd text through, well about 5 at once saying you have missed a cal blah blah, but when i try to ring back my signal is gone yet again. I have rang up a few times, an each time they say there are a few masts down. Is there anyway i can cancel my contract without paying? Surely there is something which states that i am actually paying £40 a month to be able to use my phone :rotfl:
I get 1600 mins a month, and used 500 this month which isnt like me at all. Plus my bt bill is huge this month (i never normally use the landline, there is no point with all the inclusive mins on my mobile)

You might find some information on this thread. I believe that the contract doesn't mention anything about reliability of signal unfortunately, so the best they'll probably do is offer some kind of goodwill 'money-off' or ironically, extra minutes. Certainly worth giving them a call though.
I've got rubbish signal at my house, but I knew this when I renewed my last contract so I've only got myself to blame! Retentions offered me a great deal so I stayed, which is rather daft as I'm unable to use most of my lovely free minutes and texts ...0 -
The networks don't say you'll have a full signal everywhere, they can't. Some buildings block the signal, mast can go down etc.
If you had no signal anywhere you might have a case for cancelling but not in the odd location...0
