Any way to save on iPhone 3GS 16GB PAYG

Hey all,

I'm planning to get an iPhone 3GS 16GB on 2 PAYG, and then either unlock for use with my current Orange sim only plan, or get o2 simplicity.

Obviously the price of it (£440) is huge, though it still looks like I will be nonetheless be better off than committing to an 18 month contract which will cost much more, and still have to pay a hefty chink upfront. However, I would be most grateful if anybody could give any tips on how to get any kind of discount on a brand new model with full warranty. I can't access any employee schemes and I don't know anybody can :(

If there is basically zero chance, then just tell me I'm being silly :P

Cheers,

Dom

Best you can hope for is to order from Apple online via a cashback site and get a few quid back. I ordered via Quidco yesterday and am getting 15.31 back. Not great but better than nothing.

look into a iphone 3G... rather than 3GS. Do you need the extra features... I wouldn't say the 3GS is a massive upgrade, infact the massive upgrade will prolly be out later in the year or early next year.

Visually looking its the same thing. You will save getting an older model which practically does the same stuff.
