  • Just popping in to say I banked another £40 today...and I have been very good and not taken anything out...yet!

I have been shoving almost every piece of change I got in the pot except for £1 coins but I might have to ease back to just copper and £2 and 20p coins.

I have been banking regularly but with only a couple of months to go now I am going to leave the pot and not open it up to get a final total until the official opening date.

    Hope everyone is well!

    Sorry Sue,
I have a knack for confusing people, you had already plugged the newbie in, I was just making a comment, thats all, soz :p. Hope your DH is feeling better, my DW gets them and they aint nice. I'm off home in a mo, DW is on the opposite shift to me at the mo, so we're like ships passing in the night, so it's a glass of Italian falling down water for me :D, helps me sleep, don't ya know

So I'll say g'night, catch you tomorrow, look after you DH (and yourself of course) ;)

Not to worry sparky, I'd sussed it already anyway, and wouldn't I forgive you almost anything anyway??! Nah!!! ;)

Thanks for the good wishes for DH, yours too Kerfuffle but no better today, poor fellar I just hope tomorrow will be kinder to him. I remember your DW suffering last week or the one before; bu**ers aren't they!

Never mind LC, don't worry, I know you'll put it back, trusting aren't I. ;)

Very well done CC, another £40 in the bank is amazing.

Nowt for me today, been nowhere to get any.

Have a good day all and keep potting up!

    Sue

Hi all! 8p for the pot today. First time it's been 'fed' for a while! Pot is still only half full (mostly of coppers) so don't think there will be too much in it when it's counted!

    Evening everyone,
£2 in the sealed pot, 6p in road change & 2 X £2 coins in my change today, there are some great amounts going into peoples pots. LC don't worry about taking it out, that's what it's there for.

Sue hope your DH is feeling better today hun, it must be the weather, but my Dw has come home from work, and gone for a lie down, as she has one of her heads

    Enjoy the evening everyone

Starnac, don't beat yourself up over it, it's all swings and roundabouts and at least the money is there for you to 'borrow', just write yourself an IOU that's what I do :rotfl:

Well done to those putting pennies in pots, and well done to those suffering the lows but continuing with the challenge.

    Have a good one.
