I did that too Carolt! Except I tried it for about 4 weeks with the same result.....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Maybe that accounts for the level of cynicism and disilusionment on here?

    Are we all failed compers?

This one isolated incident that we only have your word for is proof enough for me that the entire housing market in the UK is booming again. First thing Tuesday morning I am going to borrow £150k to buy a !!!! house in a !!!! area before I miss the boat again.

I doubt you have a large enough deposit.

What a strange and spitefull lot of Bears post on here,I suppose the have nots will always be envious.

She had to downsize massively from her previous home in Windlesham due to personal tragedy and deserves all the luck she can get.

Keep saving for that ever rising deposit suckers.

I do not think that it is booming!! And that is anywhere in the UK. I have my home
plus rental accomodation and I will keep it for the next 20 years. I think by then
I might have made a little profit.

Booming no,but I have a portfolio of mortgage free property ranging from Kingswells in Aberdeen (Oh how I love Aberdeen)

To holiday rental properties as far apart as The lake District, to St Marychurch in Babbacombe and student rents in Haddington Plymouth.

Rant all you like Bears,it`s up to you to be able to get on the ladder.

Speaking as one of the bears, I didn't think my post was overly spiteful..although I do agree that I am strange :D

Not all non owners want to own, they can still be bulls or bears when it comes to the housing market (although, like me they would have to be a little strange).

Oh and I am not envious in the slightest, did that in my twenties and it is such a waste of time and emotion. Now, it doesn't matter to me if someone has oodles of money and a 10 bed mansion or is completely skint and living in a doss house...it is the person that is important, being a non owner doesn't make someone lesser than an owner.

And that last comment wasn't just a teensy bit 'strange and spiteful', possibly?

    Such a lack of self-awareness.

    You couldn't make it up.
