Probably someone who isnt bothered about the fee avoidance/p&p cost and is happy for £120 vouchers for £111 or someone who is on benefits, sells on ebay, doesnt want the money to go in to their bank accounts for buys vouchers on ebay for high street stores, ive read about it on here im sure.
I think seller should have put special only tho, espically as a lot of recorded arent being updated now! imagine if the buyer doesnt sign for it and claims N.R and gets money back via paypal, seller would only get £1.00 plus what £1.50 postage back!! if that as its vouchers!! gutting0 -

I have just raised a dispute and escalated to a claim for some Argos vouchers which I have bought on ebay, paid by Paypal and not received. After reading this I have trawled through Paypal help section (what is not covered by Paypal protection) and I cannot find any reference to vouchers.
Would you please clarify for me as you now have me worried and I can see £120 I cannot afford going down the drain. Thank you0 -
Its not covered by Royal mail so the seller will not be able to claim money back off them. As the buyer you will be covered through paypal as normalI have just raised a dispute and escalated to a claim for some Argos vouchers which I have bought on ebay, paid by Paypal and not received. As a buyer you're fine- it's the seller not being covered by the postal service that is being discussed here- you will get your money back from paypal, but the seller won't get their money back from royal mail for the loss (unless they sent by a appropriate service)I have just raised a dispute and escalated to a claim for some Argos vouchers which I have bought on ebay, paid by Paypal and not received. I just want to clarify the ebay/paypal protection issue.
It is not true that in the case of non receipt the buyer only gets the item cost back, the buyer gets the full amount including postage paid back.
It is the fee avoiding seller that gets penalised as RM pay out item cost and actual postage paid. For vouchers it is even worse as RM only cover them if sent Special delivery. The real people who are at risk from this silly fee avoidance are the sellers, they risk losing money in case of loss and they are also risking their ebay account. Regardless of personal feelings about whether fee avoidance is right or wrong just ask yourself do you honestly want to deal with a seller that dim?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
