Hey fellow MSE'ers, just thought I'd share a great deal with you guys.

I noticed over on HUKD a few weeks back that Orange were offering great deals to existing PayG customers to convert over to a pay monthly contract.

I had an Orange PayG sim lying about that I activated around a year ago (after getting it for free online), but had only every placed ONE £5 credit into around half a year ago. As my sister needed a new contract, I thought I would try to see if I could negotiate anything...

Off the bat, I was offered a free Nokia 5800 with 400 Xnet minutes, unlimited texts, magic numbers and free mobile internet for 2 months (£4.99 thereafter) for only £14.46/m (for 24 months, but still!).

I didn't even bother negotiating and took the deal.

Try it guys, just get a free Orange sim, top it up once and see what you can get. You might even be able to get one of their contracts for under a tenner, or my one on 18 months but with 200 minutes instead of 400 and less texts instead of unlimited (but with a free Nokia 5800!)
Try to imagine nothing ever existed...

Deal maybe good for you and for some. Me personally no way I will take out a 24months contract. I'm on 6months contract with 3 mix n match 300 for £10 a per month after quidco/topcashback and get a nokia 6120 worth £90. Another new phone, another 6months contract after this ends.
