Hi I did not officially join this at the start, so please forgive me butting in late. I defined "No Spend" as where I only spent that which I had budgetted for, so does not include bills, food or petrol, or in the case of this month car service and a hair cut, which mostly is a DD job, hence avoiding cash like the plague!

To be honest I don't spend a huge amount as I am trying to top up the savings account, and then will crack on with the mortgage issue. I have used the site for a while, but not contributed to this side of it really.

I think this is a good idea, and I realy admire people who strive to make a difference to thier lives by NSD and all the other ideas on here.

I have managed 17 no spend days to date in September, however as I have to pay for a replacement rear caplier on my car (ouch) and the fitting (double ouch) on Friday which was not budgeted this has taken a tumble. I plan to be able to do 2 more NSD before the end of the month.

All in all this means a total of £117 in the cash fund for the holiday :yippee:

Well done to you all and hope to make it on here more regularly.

OK, have ordered what I was going to buy (new table and chairs for family dining).... BUT as I got it from Argos, I got the buy now pay in three months option.... so I didn't spend any money today :D and I'll pay it all before the interest starts :D

So, declaring number 16 today :D
