    Thanks bigmumma

I think I am going to try for 8 - does that sound realistic?

What spends does it exclude or is it all spending? Does a direct debit leaving my account count as a NSD? I think I will do some sort of chart as I do better with visual stuff. ;)

You decide!! Some people include direct debits and the like, others don't. it's entirely your rules.

personally i don't include dd's. but do now include petrol (didn't at first coz it's a requirement to get to work, but now i just make sure i fill up on a sd) and do include the weekly shopping.

  • Thank you both..

Think I am going to regard it as physical cash in my purse and not the inevitable DDs leaving my account..

Hooray - I finally got going and had a NSD on Sunday. It's turning out to be harder than I thought. If I were more organised then it'd be better but I tend to forget things and then have to pop out to buy them.
Well, at least I've made a start!
