Thanks SavingH,
Can't wait to go now and we are just doing the end of the packing and making sure the house is clean before we head. I once went off on hols and left a dirty house and it was a nightmare when I came back!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

It is looking good but unfortunately I am using another credit card for Australia and what with having to buy lots of maternity stuff (swimsuit, proper pj's) it has risen quite sharply. I am going to use my AQA earnings to pay it off though so hopefully it will be gone down by the time the baby arrives.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Well I have just recalculated my debts
When I joined the challenge 17 Oct 08 I had £19300 of debt and £1.5K stoozing
I now have £10951 of that original debt plus £4K for a car and I still have those savings
So my revised paperhat figure after almost 6 months unemployed and interest and transfer fees for tarting cards is £8349 excluding the car. I'm going to therefore amend my sig downwards to reflect that and go from there!
We are effectively still living on my previous savings which are currently sitting in my bank account and not in the saving figure above to last until end Nov or mid Dec if it has to! So we are still doing pretty good and I am quite pleased I think!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
