hugs cafcgirl - you have a lot going on!
We had major debt when I was pregnant with my first but we were oblivious to it - or why it mattered! At least you are trying to deal with yours. My eldest is now 12- he was 10 before I started sorted our money out! You have a headstart on me and many others on the board - so don't beat yourself up too much! You have lots of time to get this sorted and then hopefully you will learn from these mistakes and not repeat them!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

starnac - sorry to hear about your MIL, and SH - hope the physio starts helping.
To those who asked about the bag - it was £70 and worth every damn penny. Real leather, bright pink and very me. I'm not normally the kind of person to go gaga over a bag but realised I needed one for my evening class folders so thought it might as well be pretty!
If you want to see a really hideous bag though, check out this baby: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1250093/Yours-26-000-The-hideous-It-Bags-made.html0 -
Hi all,
Scan went great and baby is growing within the normal ranges. They didn't give an estimate but just said there were no problems. She didn't spend too much time showing us the baby but it was good to see him/her again
On another note I was awake from about 3.45am-7am this morning with waves of period pains/cramps. I really thought this was it but obviously it wasn't! I was timing the waves and they were 5 mins apart and then went to 10/12 mins apart and then at 7am I fell asleep. So what was all that about??? It must be false labour - I wasn't impressed at all
My pelvis really aches today and I went for a long walk but am really starting to get sore and uncomfortable now. The joys!
On a more positive note - my deposit came back so my baby savings are up to £3700. Am quite chuffed with that. I hope to have about £4500 by the time the baby is born (money from end of Feb work cheque)Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi CMD
So glad the scan went well, won't be long now, I had a show with DD2 a couple of days before I went into labour, kept getting a jelly like discharge (tmi sorry).
When I went into labour with DD3 I had some pains that were every 10 mins, then I had a 'number 2' before we set off for the hospital when they were 5 mins apart (this was at 6am) and by the time I was on the way to the hospital the contractions stopped, they didnt start again properly until about 6pm that evening although my waters went at lunchtime so had to keep walking about to start labour off
Good news about the deposit, you have saved a good amount in baby savings.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

That would be a lovely present for your DH. I used to work with someone who was born on Valentines Day. When I was pregnant with DD1, the couple in the flat underneath ours had their baby on April Fools Day.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

I think you will have it soon, what is your due date? My birthday is 20th so if baby doesn't come on Valentine's Day have it on 20th, my birthday always fell in the school holidays so I never had to go to school on my birthday.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
