    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Spoon, I hope the cuppa and chocolate help alleviate that cold! I was thinking about a group hug, but I'll maybe wait until you're better :D.

I do like my purples. My entire flat is various shades of purples, reds, bright pinks and teal (accessories, not walls; I watch enough of those programmes to know a cerise painted wall would probably be horrific :rotfl:). Most of my clothes are those shades too come to think of it... don't think I'll look into what that might say about me :rotfl:

The washing has now finished but I'm thinking there's no point in putting out this time of night as it'll never dry. Sunny it might be, but the car still needed to be scraped this morning.

    Dropped to 2 again

I like purples as well nicca. My bedroom is purply. I'm thinking of decorating my kitchen soon but can't decide what colour to go for. Its blue and white at the moment and has been for years and years and is definitely in need of a change. Plus I go some new (well old) kitchen chairs for my birthday and its made me want to revamp.

I really need to spend lots of the kitchen though - need a new floor as well (current one chewed by the dog as a pup!)

Oh well it can be my project for the next 6months - which is how long it will take to actually do anything!

I want to do my kitchen next too... it'll be a while though, even though it's wee. It'll need to be fairly light to make it look bigger. I was thinking of that duck egg blue - but plenty time to change my mind before I ever get around to it!

Thanks nicca, they helped a lot:). Group hug definitely not a good idea at the moment, don't want you lot telling me off for sharing my germs:(

I love purples and pinks too - OH doesn't unfortunately:(. My kitchen is light wood with lime green walls - very zingy - and an orange floor - got my way in there..... :):). Got an orange and lime striped blind and orange and lime checked chair covers - need sunglasses in there but I love it:)

    How was school today Numpty?

Can't help it if you know better than them Numpty can you, maybe you should be running the class. Good news on the travel costs though.:j

Anyway I'm sure you meant to say you were offering to help us all with the decorating not the other way round?! After all I'd need a big ladder to reach the ceiling seeing as I'm only 2ft6!!:p
