Ooh, no, that's definitely my sort of meal too - sounds great :):):) - you can dip the wedges in the cheese sauce, scrummy!!

Hmmmmm... putting it off ... think I've heard that from you before nicca:rotfl:

Me? Never! I'm a hive of bustling activity, I am :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. It's only taken me a month to write to HMRC re a tax rebate - and that's because one of the lovely forum peeps emailed me a template letter :o!

Always time for another creme egg - surprised you even have to ask:rotfl::rotfl:
Sneaky bump from me - just off to have chicken with some courgettes I found in the freezer, tinned toms, onions and rice on the side, cooking away nicely now, smells good:)

Back later, if I can move:o

Mmmmm, sounds good! (Minus the chicken - chicken isn't good for veggies :D)

Creme eggs, however, are fantastic for every-one! I do hope I'm not fed up of them come Easter :p.

Oooh, forgot to share my wee achievement... A&L credited my account with their £100 switching fee :j:j. But they couldn't transfer my wages as I need to do that through pay roll. So I now have an account where I can transfer the exact money needed to cover the bills and leave the one my pay goes into for food. Slowly but surely (and sometimes less surely :D).

    Evening all.

Sorry I've not been here for a few days, I'm attempting to give up smoking, hadn't had one since Sunday and I am grumpy, and I cannot sit down for long without thinking of cigarettes, I don't know why it bothers me when I sit down, i never ever smoked in the house, come rain or shine, I've always smoked outside.....I cannot believe I am having withdrawal effects from a little white cancer causing stick:mad:

    Hope you are all well.

Tixy, Egg are baskets, I hated them when I was going through my debt wannabee journey, they were very unhelpful.

My OH is currently available to rent out to make Sunday breakfast etc, although I'm almost certain when he starts homeworking, he will be available free of charge - I hope he doesn't get under my feet and I hope he realises I am not his secretary or chief coffee maker.

SS - your dinner sounded lovely, do you have the chicken and courgettes in with the tinned tomatoes, I do this with Passata, but some passata sauces can be boring and bland, I wondered if I could do the same thing with tinned chopped tomatoes? Or do you serve everything seperate?

    Night all. Sleep well.x.

Well done on trying to give up Washer :j

Hi Spoon (sorry I'm sure you deserve a well done just can't think what for at the moment!)

Nicca you sound like me - i am good at putting off paperwork - must reply to egg in 30days, must change gas & elec this month, must look into the horrific AA charges, but haven't actually done any of these yet :o

I'm not a creme egg fan, too sweet for me - and besides I have french chocolate at the moment from my trip last week :o

    Night all

You can never get fed up of creme eggs, surely, might have no teeth left, but that's another story :)

Well done on giving up washer (I'm assuming you have given up - did you notice that?). Good luck for the next few weeks, I know it's hard going but I'm sure you'll get there.

Right, Sunday breakfast it is then:D. You'll have to lay some ground rules down when he starts working at home, washer, otherwise you will definitely be chief coffee maker - you need to find something very important you just have to do which can't possibly wait.
SS - your dinner sounded lovely, do you have the chicken and courgettes in with the tinned tomatoes, I do this with Passata, but some passata sauces can be boring and bland, I wondered if I could do the same thing with tinned chopped tomatoes? Or do you serve everything seperate?

It was very good, thanks, washer. Whole lot goes in together, except the rice. Fry an onion until transparent, then add some garlic (optional), then bung in the chicken pieces to brown (I use thighs, think they're much tastier). Courgettes in next to brown, tinned toms chopped up, some tom puree, black pepper, worcester sauce, chicken stock cube, oregano or mixed herbs, chicken back in, lid on, very low simmer for 30 mins or so. Done. Very good with plain rice - I prefer wholemeal. Hope you like it x

How about - I've just got 1300 posts:D:D, or, I've just had my 7th NSD in March - the options are endless, Tixy :rotfl:

If you need nagging (sorry, reminding), Tixy, I'm here - I'm a great reminder (according to my OH:rotfl:)

Right, I'm going now - think I've had too many E numbers this evening, 3 posts in a row - sorry:o

    Night everyone x

Yikes Spoon, hope those E numbers don't keep you awake all night!!!!

Well done on just being you I say! :D

And reminding me to take care of my teeth!

Numpty; I forgot about the cashback sites :(. I've only recently figured out how to work them and not before I applied for my new account. Not had the chance to use one yet, but it's on my ever expanding list of things to remember. It's a good job we have Spoon as chief reminderer :D!

    Night all :).
