    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes

Radio 2 is fab Numpty...in the morning we have Chris Evans (v.early its that silly Sarah Kennedy, I cant stand her), and we have Steve Wright, lunchtimes its Jeremy Vine (he's good). They play good music too and are better than Radio 1:p

The music Radio 2 plays I like when they get round to playing it,;)
Chris Evans I've never liked, same as Chris Moyles

My feeling is the BBC own the biggest song liberary in the world :o
just hit the random play buton, and let it go

I'm a Radio 2 fan as well, Horace. I really miss Wogan in the mornings, he was great. Not so keen on Chris Evans in the morning, liked the drive time show, but I love Simon Mayo, so pleased he's on there now. I like Ken Bruce and Steve Wright as well, Jeremy Vine gets a bit "worthy" on occasions, but don't mind him either.
I used to be a confirmed Radio 1 listener until I worked with someone who is 15 years younger than me, she couldn't stand Radio 1 and turned me over to Radio 2 - so it's not just for old geezers... I hate Radio 1 now - it's much too loud!!!

    You've had a busy day, Numpty.. brrrrr -5 is a bit chilly:eek:

    Hope everyone's well today:)

Radio 1 used to be great when Noel Edmonds and Dave Lee Travis were on it.

Chris Evan's drivetime show in Radio 2 was good and he seems to have grown up a bit since his wild days when he got banned everywhere. Not so keen on Ken Bruce but will listen to him. I refuse to listen to Radio 1 these days - they don't play music just noise.

Heart FM would be great if they ditched the adverts

Noel Edmonds was good Horace, I was never a fan of DLT, though I loved Johnnie Walker - was heartbroken when he left the drivetime show on Radio 2 :(

Heart FM play some good music but I really hate the adverts....

    Bump ...

Music ... always on with me, but over the net, not via the radio - there is such a huge huge range available, no matter what your tastes are.

Example of one (of many) I use is actually from Russia, here if you want to try:

    www(dot)101(dot)ru

Don't worry when the screen shows in Russian - use the google toolbar and it will instantly translate it all for you. Try it - great choice across all genres of music - and I'd love to hear what you think.

You are not alone MF!, I was just on my way to do this but you got there first.

Hello to any newcomers and welcome. Please do post a new thread if you are having debt problems. Ignore any trolls and if you don't get any sensible/useful responses straight away then do come back and check after a few hours (sometimes the boards are quiet or the people who can help you best are not around)
