    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes

Hi folks - have had a brill and relatively cheapo idea to fix my suitcase - go to the car shop over the road and get a tub of fibreglass gunk and smear it around and in the crack.

Have a busy day tomorrow with 2 mystery shops, a breakfast meeting and a meeting on skype in the afternoon so won't be around.

Have a grand day everybody (unless you're a troll and then you can go and play on the motorway)

If you do have to buy new luggage Horace - have you seen this from this weeks email http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2242873 very cheap holdalls and sounds like other luggage as well.

Talking of the email, I always like to have a nosey at what this weeks 'DFW thread of the week' is - this weeks made me laugh :rotfl::rotfl:

Good morning Numpty - nearly spammed you :o

Hi to everyone else, hope you're all well this morning (trolls excepted who, I hope, played happily in the fast lane of the motorway last night)

PS: MF, that "lean on me" song is still going round my head, along with the unlikely combination of Boston - thanks to Horace

    Morning everyone ... :)

My brain has transferred its allegiance to Andy Williams' "Happy Heart" - but this time I know where it got infected - a BBC Promo for the 6 Nations rugby.

*Exits* Stage Left ... its no bad way to start the day, so altogether now, lol.

    Morning all,

A rare midweek bump from myself.

Poor DD seems to have contracted the hideous winter vomiting virus :( no sleep here & no work or school. I'm now fasting & only sipping water & lemon so that if/when it hits me it wont be quite so unpleasant. I feel like a sitting target just waiting for the inevitable ...

Hope everyone else is fine & while I still am, have some wednesday flavour ...

    *Happy Dust* :D
