    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

    Morning all

I went to bed at silly o'clock 1.10am and was up at 8am as I had one leg out of bed the doorbell rang so I picked up my dressing gown and went and answered the door - it was the postwoman with a parcel, I put my dressing gown on and heard knock on the door and she had put the parcel on the mat for me - she apologised for disturbing my lie in:D I wasn't expecting a parcel and discovered that it was from pcone and something to test. I have to test this item for a week and then fill in a survey and then I receive payment:D I have never had anything from them to test before.

I was quite worried at around lunchtime as DHL turned up with a parcel for me - a huge box, but I looked at the address on the box which was mine but the name wasnt so I said to the DHL driver look the address is correct but I have no idea who this woman is but I offered to take it in anyway:rotfl: He said that I couldnt do that as I had pointed out to him that it wasnt addressed to me and then he was cursing his little palm thingy as it didnt have a button for not known at this address and the only thing he could do was put no longer trading:rolleyes: The poor man was cursing as it was the third time today that parcels had been wrongly addressed and then he had to lug the thing back downstairs.

Tixy - this stuff from pcone isnt very good to be honest with you and I have to suffer it for a week:rolleyes:

How was skool today Numpty - did you do reading, riting and rithmatic?

    Afternoon all,

love love loving that group hug smilie MF :) No running, you'll just have to lounge around & eat hobnobs like the rest of us ;)

Good luck with the man hunt Angel ... we 3 girlies have to do our own digging on our allotment, men only offer to help when there's machinery involved ie strimmers to wield about ;)
