Going to watch Doctor Who later (and probably cry at the end like everyone else seems to have done!!!)
Bit of a Busman's Holiday, to be honest, as my wife and I have spent most of the afternoon shopping in the dammed place. :rotfl:
And, for a treat, I was also allowed to push a small trolley around Mr T's, as we needed Cat Litter - ASDA 'smart price' cat litter is not as good as the Tesco 'value' lightweight cat litter - or so I'm told.
Still - lots of 'reductions' in both stores - will be enjoying a nice steak later on.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Mrs Rog must be very trusting, Rog. Wouldn't trust my OH with a trolley, he's either 5 aisles ahead of me or finding lots of "extras" to put in the trolley while my back's turned :rotfl::rotfl:. Enjoy your steak!
Nargle - yay to a week's holiday, sounds good to me.
Quick bump for this little thread that clearly has wanderlust today, just found it languishing at the bottom of page 2!!The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes

Thanks Nargle, I did, though I had more than one tear in my eyes at the end..... David T will be a very tough act to follow indeed, hope the new chap can live up to our expectations....GreyhoundAngel wrote: »** Edited to say .... Solventsoon beat me to it **

And a happy Monday from me, just to bump this thread back to the top. Only five and a half hours to go till hometime and freedom for a week. Have been a bit narked off tonight, so just as well that I am on annual leave. One life - your life - live it!0

Only 3 hours till home time.....am annoyed because when I phoned work yesterday to say I would have a problem getting in because of bad road and weather conditions I was made to feel guilty and subjected to the usual emotional blackmail ("leaving us short staffed" "others people have to travel in as well" "we have to provide a service" etc etc) - I have worked several very busy shifts during the bad weather, travelling in some distance on icy roads, and the one time I express concern about being unable to get in I am subjected to pressure which I can do without. i managed to get into work in the end, but am dreading what the roads will be like when I leave off. No wonder people in my job feel unappreciated at times. Anyway, whinge over - have a good day everyone. One life - your life - live it!0
