I had my carbon monoxide detector from B&Q. You can also get small stick on ones that go on your fire or combi boiler etc. They have a circle in the middle that changes colour if there's Carbon monoxide present. Hope this helps!

Just read the rest of your story numpty. Blimey!

Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Good afternoon all - just realised from Rog's post that today is a bank holiday - so that is why there was no reply when I rang the council to ask when our bins are going to be emptied! They should have been emptied Christmas Eve, the recycling stuff too, but apparently the lorries turned back only part way through the round due to the icy roads. Consequently our neighbourhood is dotted here and there with overflowing bins, bags, boxes....Oh, well, I suppose they only had a weeks' notice that the roads might be a bit dodgy :mad::rolleyes: - one day we hope (maybe even in my lifetime) they will get it right....

Ever the optimist Nargle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Round here, they empty bins the day following a bank holiday - maybe yours will be done tomorrow - or am I being an optimist now?

Hello everyone, I survived the shopping trip and managed to avoid buying any unnecessary carp in the sales :j.

Hope you're all OK and, PPP, I'm still stuffed too, eaten way too much over the last 3 days .

Still no presents for me - went to see ex hubby yesterday but he hadnt had time to get me anything, left some books with him that I bought for him. My mate Sal has a pressie for me but I shall see her in the New Year. Need to buy myself a present - need new slippers as the sole is falling off the ones I am wearing now (cheapies from primarni).
