Tixy....welcome back......Numpty and i saw loads of ducklings at the agricultural show the other week.....awwwwwww.....:D...Hope yours are doing OK...what will be their adult plumage?

Thanks Wol - they are doing really well. They look almost like adults now. Their fathers are cayugas (dark brown and green metallic) and their mothers are khaki campbells (mid brown), and we have 2 dark, 2 mid brown and oddly 1 yellow duckling . I think there are 3 ducks and 2 drakes but I'm hoping for more girls as I don't think the drakes will have long happy lives ahead of them........
    Good morning all:o

Numpty that is not morning its the middle of the night! I had only just got to sleep by then

Where did the forum disappear to? I wrote a long post only for it to say there were technical issues .

    Excellent free money Numpty :j

Good Morning (just) Bump. Shortly off to Ask for lunch with a main meal for £1 voucher.

Evening all..I had a lovely day at the Autumn Fair (or should I say morning as I was home by 1pm) my back went stiff from too much walking and standing and staring:rolleyes: Still I came away with some useful contacts - watch this space. I fell in love with some expensive things and I am going back tomorrow because I am going to treat myself to a gorgeous lamp. The lamp is a work of art and I kept returning to the stand to look at it..drool. How to describe it - its made of silver aluminium, it is like a woven vase with leaves poking out (you can arrange the leaves how you please) and it has teasel heads (the one that I adore does or you could have allium heads instead) - each flower head contains a tiny low energy halogen bulb and the whole thing positively gleams and I love it:D I am hoping to pick it up cheap for about £20 whereas the normal trade price is £35 and they retail for £60:eek:

My back is still stiff..so tomorrow I shall dose myself up with ibruprofen.
