I have heard of people doing daft things like turning onto railway tracks just because the satnav told them to. Wonder how the RAC managed to rescue him? Did they get their shovels out to widen the path? One life - your life - live it!0

Never trust a sat nav..always trust your own eyes and a good map..that way you won't end up driving down really narrow lanes going nowhere:rolleyes:0

Just found the following article, which some might find amusing:

I hasten to add - it wasn't me. :rotfl: :rotfl:Nargleblast wrote: »Good afternoon everyone. Afternoon all,
Rog - love the article, some people seem to leave their brains at home when they have a satnav and think it can make all the decisions for them - what an idiot, bet he got some stick from the RAC!!!
Nargle - the idea of chickens in wellies and plastic macs is brilliant. Maybe you could set up a business making them as so many people have free-range chickens nowadays?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope everyone is well today - just for once it isn't raining here :j:j:jThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Mind you - with the wages that ASDA pay people could be excused for 'leaving their brains at home' :rotfl:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

You're right - and it wasn't meant to be a dig at delivery drivers, honest, just at recreational drivers who end up trying to cross rivers and fields to get somewhere !!!!The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

A blank post from Tixy .... not speaking to us then? Or is it your computer playing silly beggars?
Solventsoon - wellies for chickens would have to be a funny shape for the toe sticking out at the back, and their macs would have to be more like Sherlock Holmes capes......the mind boggles!
Quite a few DFWIDs out there (DFWs in distress), sign of the times I suppose....One life - your life - live it!0 -

  - Don't let my wife hear you suggest that, NB. It's bad enough that she has dotted umbrellas all over the garden, so that our chicks can 'shelter' from the rain.
Needless to say, the chickens ignore the umbrellas, with a vengeance, and they (the umbrellas) usually end up by either being blown inside out, or in the neighbours' gardens. :rolleyes2
As for our cats - they can turn 180 degrees in mid air when they see the rain. :rotfl:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
