In more cheery news, I've just heard my friends husband is home from hospital for good, he lost both legs in an accident in April...they can now start getting on with their lives.....makes you feel lucky for what you've got eh?

My god, what kind of accident was it?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I sometimes feel the same Lou-my work collegues and I don't go out socially, all my closest friends live spread out all over the place....and I've just blown out my friend that was willing to sit with a miserable cow because I so miserable...

Call her back and see if you can go round later with a bottle of wine and a film, she'll understand if she's a good friend.

In the meantime, stick around and chat!

I get those down days too, often for no particular reason but I can't dig myself out of it for the whole day, I'm just best left alone on those days

He was on a motorbike....went under a lorry. I'm amazed that he survived but he's been a real trooper and I'm so pleased for them all that he's finally home.

Hubby has just gone out to meet up for a drink with some old work collegues that he hasn't seen for over 10 years!
