Batfink - your weekend sounds as exciting as mine!
Buns - Get yourself out for a walk with the bunnykins...a bit of fresh air is great for lifting the mood.
Linda - Poor Maureen - I'm guessing she'll be steering well clear of DD for a while!
Well not only did I go to Mr A's but I popped to the library too - I need a lie down now - the excitement is far to much."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I sometimes feel the same Lou-my work collegues and I don't go out socially, all my closest friends live spread out all over the place....and I've just blown out my friend that was willing to sit with a miserable cow because I so miserable...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

I'm the same Bun, I have no social contact with colleagues and only one local friend that I see about once or twice a month.
Hubby and I will only get out probably a maximum of twice a year without kids.
That's why I look forward to the MSE meets so much!
I think I'd go mental if it wasn't for you lot.

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

I don't even have the work colleagues.....being a SAHM when the kids are older is very lonely.
In more cheery news, I've just heard my friends husband is home from hospital for good, he lost both legs in an accident in April...they can now start getting on with their lives.....makes you feel lucky for what you've got eh?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W.
