It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I'm here....with wine - a rather lovely "mixed fruit"....well it started off as cherry....but it wasn't great so then it got mixed with blackberry, raspberry and blackcurrent.....so now it's lovely :D (and very potent)

My youngest cat has been fighting - he's now got an abcess on the bridge of his nose - he's all lumpy bumpy. It must have popped over night but it's built up again now, shall have to keep an eye on him....he's sitting on the arm of the sofa bashing my fingers as I'm typing.

We're recording Total Wipeout and watching The X Factor.

Hubby wants Miami Vice movie recording later too.

    Aww, poor moggie.
Mine does the head bumping and rubbing against my hand when I'm on the laptop, either that or Dennis settles down on the arm and I have to wriggle my hand under his belly to get to my mouse.

pooky, wash his nose with a cotton wool ball and salty water, that will keep the wound clean and it can open to drain again, you may be able to gently squeeze the gunk out as well.

Scaredy - If it was my older cat who's all soppy than it wouldn't be a problem - the younger one won't let you near him to be picked up or do anything....he was a rescue cat and I assume that he was used to being grabbed and thrown from his reactions. He'll come to me when he wants to, but he's very skitty.

He's purring away so can't be too bad.
