 Can you guys help me with wording a letter please? I writing to see if there are any jobs in a local store but as I have not worked since 1993 due to illness I'm scared they will just look at my CV and chuck it in the bin:o I've so far got "As you will see from the enclosed CV I have not worked since 1993 due to illness but would like to take this opportunity to reassure you".....             Afternoon everyone
 Today I will/have:
 several loads of washing (done)
 cook meals for the week and freeze
 continue sorting clothes (never knew I had so much!)
 take a nice long walk with BF
 take 10 minutes to relax! (maybe tomorrow)

 Sorted email inbox, it was huge:o
 Finished Hoovering:j(its only taken me all week:o)
 Cooked beetroot and bottled
 Rhubarb and ginger jam done
 carrots done for tea
 and all veggies from allotment cleaned and put away
 So now I am going to go and shorten dd's trousers:eek:yes I am... another thing that has been on my list for ages.
 Then I am going to tidy her bedroom as I have been dumping stuff in there since she came home last.
 Check and see if there is any paperwork to put away
 Make lists for week.

 Read the Sunday paper (part of my new 'time for you' routine) takes me all week
 Tidy through fridge and freeze the 'home made takeaway' we made at the weekend
 Send an email to thank a chum from freecycle for a kettle for new student

            Hi Guys
 Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday and getting better weather than we have had the past few days. Another wet and windy day here today so no gardening work getting done but must find a gap in the rain to clean out the chickies house and change their bedding:D
 Have had a busy weekend making jams, jellies, chutneys and batch cooking to fill the freezer whilst I was stuck indoors.
 tasks for today- check online banking
- move some money to savings
- cook some spaghetti thta spilled in cupboard and feed to the chickies
- use last few bits of bread and some home made jam that wouldn't fit in the jar for brekkie
- might assemble huge chest of drawers currently in boxes in the lounge:rolleyes:
- meals from stores and freezer
- bottle blackberry vodka ready for xmas hampers
- hokey cokey - need to wash bedding and dry in front of fire as it is so wet outside
- do some housework as have spent weekend playing at jam making and done nothing much:o
- take birtday gift to friend, card from LETS, recycled gift, wrapped in newspaper and sealed with electricians tape:rotfl:very chic! lol but friend is a fellow frugaller and probably the only person who would appreciate the gift:rotfl:
- ring OH on free minutes as he is working so been on my own all weekend at cottage
- have a no spend day

- Send some more information for my switchover

            Morning All,
 Just a short list for me today - I am feeling really [STRIKE]lazy[/STRIKE] chilled out. So today I have/will:
 - check online banking
 - meals from storecupboards
 - spend 10 minutes meditating and visulaising myself seeing a lower number on the scales
 - put a jumper on as I seem to be the only one who is a bit cold :eek:
 - might have a wander into town or I could stay in and not spend any money
 - make sure that I have everything I need for work tomorrow....must take out bread for my sandwich
 - dilute the soup that I made yesterday for lunch
 - keep up the diet....day 2 of the rest of my life, but if it means I can be a mum then it is worth it
 - make breakfast for tomorrow...I am going for a blood test and I can not have any breakfast in the morning
 - continue to watch The Take which we recorded off sky ages ago and have just got round to watching it
 Think that is about it, take care everyone

 - do some work that I brought home with me (yes, I know - but it will make less to do this week in the office)
 - read for free entertainment
 - use up more freebie toiletries
 - washing on low temp and dry on airer
 - do some filing (the pile of random paperwork in huge !)
 - complete questionnaire on toiletries testing
 - check for surveys

 Frugal pressie was well received by friend and in the spirit of frugality she even recycled the newspaper to stuff toilet rolls for firelighters :rotfl:0
