Low Usage Charge
The following only applies to Fresh customers who connected before 1st May 2006.

We now charge for months where you make limited/no use of your Fresh line. Sorry, but we need this charge to justify the ongoing cost of maintaining your line in the event that you make little or no use of it.

The good news is that you hardly have to use your phone at all to avoid the charge. And even where it does apply, it’s just 60p. The charge comes into effect from May 1st 2006. Starting from this date, in any calendar month where your spend is below £1.50 we will apply a charge of 60p which will be deducted from your account balance. The fee will be debited from your balance within three working days of the start of the following calendar month. For example, if in July you spend £1.49 or less, your balance will be debited by 60p in early August.

So if this only affects customers who connected before the 1st May, what about new customers who connect after 1st May?
I've had a scan through the T & Cs on the CPW site, where this is also mentioned. But there it seems to apply to all Fresh mobile customers.
