I tried "morning" as the flight time and I got £529 + tax, changing it to morning, afternoon, morning made no difference to the fare.

Bringing everything forward by one day took it up to £545.00
Bringing everything forward by another day was still £545.00
Flying out originally on the Thursday is still £545.00
Going out a day later is £529 again.
I just tried Lastminute and Expedia and got about £540 each (inc all fees), tried Opodo and got £499 each! AA is still giving me £551 plus taxes which comes out at about £1200 in total. Plus it's not much but get 1% cashback from Opodo which will come in at about a £10 - every bit counts I guess.
2p off is still 2p off!

Well fatboyonadiet there comes a time in life when you have to make a decision !

IMHO a fare for under £500 incl tax is very, very reasonable & although I have only flown with BMI once, they were excellant.

    decisions, decisions.

I found out that the Stardust is coming down next year, might explain why it wasn't as good as expected
Nothing to see here, move along.

Well took the plunge MTC and got the flights for £480 each, can't grumble, was a bit gutted as I thought I'd missed the boat with AA but glad I still only paid this price, especially when the nearest was £550.

It still is a week in LA unfortunately, a place I've always wanted to go, been to a lot of places I wanted to go but this place and Vegas were still on the map, I know I couldn't do more then 3 days in Vegas, just wouldn't enjoy it.

Thanks again for all your help with this and for convincing me to fly to Vegas instead of drive. I've booked the Luxor and paying $119.99 a night which isn't bad and got a convertible to LA which is costing me $269. Just need to sort out my hotel in LA now...

    Hi.
Well, I really hope you have a fab time over there.
Also, what dates did you book, as I will hopefully be in Vegas early September.
However, I must say, I agree with most on this board that a week in LA is too long, and 3 days in Vegas too short.
That said, I would make sure that you book some trips and have things planned for LA.

We'll have a car in LA so will be aiming to get about, especially having had a look at the suggestion above by nelly. We're in Vegas from the 17th to the 20th.

Glad you've got yourself a car.
Just DONT hit rushhour on Highway 710. That the main route to Long Beach. Traffic is always bad in LA, but 710 is like the M25 on a bad day 15 times worse though.
Have fun though when youre here!
