How to find the right perfume?

I'm hooked on the Perfume-Parlour after reading about it on here and have been recommending it to anyone who will listen. I've tried loads now and am currently on "Flowerbomb" and the "Kenzo Flower" ones: they're lovely but not exactly what I'm after. Now, if only they did a L'Arpege-alike I'd be in absolute heaven.
Alias: give Caleche by Hermes a sniff, it's gorgeous with a very adult undertone0 -
Snuggles - from what you have described on your first post I think you would like Dior Hypnotic Poison, not the EDT but the EDP. I recently purchased the EDP then got the perfume oil from the Perfume Parlour and I can honestly say there is no difference.
Hope that helps0 -
Lucky Snuggles! She can get the Hypnotic Poison-alike for £2.25 including postage.
The P-P Aromatics Elixir is identical to the real one0 -
Try this online store: beauty-enhancement. it has the full Guerlain range and is really reasonable0

Thought I'd revive this thread to let you know I've finally found a new perfume which I love. I ordered a few samples from Fragrance X but nothing suited. I tried Liz Earle's new fragrance, but that made me feel ill. I also tried Red Door and Blue Grass (Elizabeth Arden) which had been recommended to me as an alternative to Armani Gio (one of my all time fave perfumes which is now really hard to get hold of), but didn't like those either.
Then today I popped into the Perfume Shop to try Angel again (even though I already knew it doesn't smell right on me), and the really helpful assistant suggested I try Wish by Chopard. I'd never heard of it before, but I love it, it's just what I've been looking for. And the best bit - it was on offer, and I got a huge 75ml bottle for £19.99 (the bottle is divine by the way). I can't stop sniffing, it smells lovely on, so I'm very pleased :j0 -

Sorry to hear Fragrancex disappointed you. But you have got a smashing bargain with 'Wish'.:T:T
I'm still hooked on Fragrancex though. Recently purchased Bogart Pour Homme - for me- and Histoire D'eau by Mauboussin for my mum. It's very pleasant.
Look like LE's new perfume is not proving popular with people.0 -

Fragrancex didn't disappoint me - in fact I've been recommending it to everyone! I think it's great to be able to buy samples - it saved me a lot of money as I might otherwise have bought full bottles of some of the perfumes I wanted to try. I will definitely use it again, so many thanks for suggesting it!
I was really disappointed with the Liz Earle fragrance, it was so overpowering, and just not a pleasant smell for me. Shame, as the packaging is lovely!0 -
Fragrancex.com DO NOT USE
I ordered a bottle of aftershave a few weeks ago it arrived leaking.
I contacted them with a picture of the bottle and they have refused to do anything.
DON'T USE THEM VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.:mad:0
