Hi

I took an 18month contract out with 3 a month ago. The phone I got is a Motorola v3x. It is (im assuming due to 3 logo on phone) locked to 3. The phone is capable of 3g amongst other things. However due to me getting bored very quickly I have considered selling the phone on ebay and buying another one from the same place to replace my current phone....however I have a slight feeling I am unable to do this due to 3s 3g and planet 3 service which are used on the phone. Any ideas or thoughts...am I able for example to buy a sony ericson k750i put my 3 sim in it and get the same stuff such as I do on my current phone...

any help/thoughts/advice much appreciated.

Regards

The K750i is not a 3G phone. The 3 USIM card will work in the phone, but 3 will cut you off for using a non 3G phone, because all calls will be via the O2 network which costs them.

You will still be responsible for the contract for the 18 months too.

The Nokia N70 is a good 3G phone if you want to use a different mobile. That will be acceptable as it is a 3G phone.
