Orange Value Promise
Options
Hi,
I'm moving from payg to contract and i'd preferably like to stay on Orange if I can. I saw the 25% off t-mobile offer Relax 35 contract with 500 cross network minutes and 200 texts for £26.25 a month. This looks pretty good to me I saw the orange value promise on the website do you think they'd be able to match this offer?
Chris

Almost certainly not - the 25% won't be & I think they kind of cherry pick which tarrifs to match!Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0

Yeah I didnt think they would! Anyone on T-Mobile? I've not been with any other network before so i've no idea if they are good or not!0

I was in a Orange shop last week and they told me they no longer do ovp.Thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel....Then got hit by a train! :A

Well OVP is still on the web site, albeit so hidden it took me 20 minutes to find: http://www.orange.co.uk/cgi-bin/ovp/costs.pl
Seems very out of date (ie wrong relax tarrifs). Seems that 12 month contracts only will be the excuse for no flext.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -
our retentions department will match the flext tarriff

yes. they will match the flext tarriff in certain circumstances. ie. your threatening to leave and your a valued customer. they wouldnt match it atfirst but we were losing a lot of customers to it so we started matching it

HELLO M8
Talking about other networks there is a better and relaible network than orange and that is T-mobile..
been with them for the last 6 years ..only problem u can have is network reception not with t- mobile but any network as one network has better reception that the others depending on the area .. i mean i dont know what part of england u live in ,and how good t-mobile reception is ..
good luck0 -
orange have lost it.... coming from me, a person with 15 orange contracts, they used 2 be the best and now are nothing but **** t mob flex is untouchable. Go 4 it.0

When are they going to fix the issue with the ability to check remaining credit with the Flext OVP tariff? With T-Mobile you get a weekly text, with the Orange OVP tariff you get nothing and can't even use the 150 option 1 service so you are left completely in the dark as to how much credit is left...
