• Morning all.

It's really sad to hear your news Tilly. I think the other girls have already given you some good advice - get yourself a DMP whether you do it yourself or with the help of a company. You might be able to get the debt written off? I'm sure Martin has plenty of advice on that one - I don't know how to go about it

Anyway always remember we're here for you, ready to listen (well, read) and help however we can. Don't suffer in silence love :oxx Meanwhile keep plug plug plugging your CV, get signed up with every agency in the world, get temp work, get anything you can to bring in some money! Don't be too proud. I started out too proud when I was unemployed last year and ended up turning down a job as an office junior that was permanent - and now here I am waiting for the end of my contract  Although usually I would encourage you to stick to your plan, at the end of the day the bills come first right now and that has to be your main priority... come back to your dreams when you can afford to :) (Hope that doesn't sound too negative)

Lots of hugs hun xxx:kisses:

Anyway hope the rest of you 'orrible lot are okay today?

Rubes I didn't watch that 9/11 thing, I don't like things like that :( I watched mean girls on Film 4!!!

Won't be a NSD today as I managed to make lunch but forget to bring it to work. Fabulous.
End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt :(
Today's total: £7,297.06 :o

I'm back! Did as OH instructed! (That's a 1st) Went through my wardrobe before I went and decided that perhaps the most important things were maybe more jeans, tshirts with sleeves and jumper or something. Went to Tesco in the end as there stuff isn't too bad, cheap and cheerful. Must have tried on every pair of jeans in there and eventually found some I liked and fitted! Got a couple of t shirts and a cuddly cardi and change from £40! Decided after holiday when I can afford it, I'll have my hair restyled and maybe go clothes shopping with my SIL. When we go to see them she and I hit their local charity shop and she's got good taste, so we'll hit shops proper.
Before then I'll try to work out how to do pictures and you lot can restyle me. Need something, not only have I got skinny but have shrunk!

• You guys are great, everyone always has so much time for each other and great advice. Thank you so much.

I'm feeling a little more better today. Last night we had a proper look through everything and lots of info on DMPs etc. Think we are going to try a self DMP 1st and see how that goes. My friend is printing off a load of info i sent her so we can start filling it in.

Re Phil getting a temp job out of town- seehe's looking everywhere as he did work in swindon before which is about 2 hours away. But the issue at the mo firstly was paying the petrol to go to all these job interviews some which are fairly far away but now as of last week his car broke, we had someone look at it and cheapest to get it fixed is £412!!! So he has no car at mo so he's going to have to use public transport etc but trains are soooo expensive!! He'll be able to use my car one i leave B@rclaycard. This is why he just wants to pay off the £600 so then he has paid half the car off and can give it back. It really is one thing after another!!!!

As for work i'm no way too proud but the issue is because i know Phil is struggling to find anything I need a job for the same pay as we have been struggling for months even with my salary so god know what will happen if i earn less. I wish i never got up to earning that much now, i really do as now I can't do something i'd actually like to do like nursing or police because the salary is too low. Ps Phil is going to apply for police i think as he's mentioned it for a while. However if we went for IVA or anything you can't so you'd lose your job!!!!

Ebs- anymore on IT Matt?
Rubes- How's job front going?
Robsmum- yay shopping, some nice things around now for autumn, get looking!!!

Just a quick thought I don't think there's any problem with police if you only go on DMP, the problems come of you go IVA or BR. Worth investigating though first.
Glad you are being pro-active and doing it together, find out also about signing on.

• Afternoon all. Couldn't come on this morning as I thought maybe I should actually get on with some work for a change

Tilly, so sorry to see that you're having such a stressful time. It must be horrible. At least seeing as you have garden leave you can be applying for jobs whilst you're still getting paid, so maybe you won't have to go without a wage at all - fingers crossed.

RM, sounds like you had a very successful shop :T. And all OH's treat - huzzah!

Well I feel like poo today, have a horrid cold and now have the obligatory red nose to match - treats. Ah well, like Rubes said, things could be a lot worse,so I'm trying to stay positive.
much work to be done - new sig coming soon...

Hi everyone,

Long time Blondie lurker here. Just to say if you are selling clothes def put the size in the despcription line. I quite often search for 'wallis 12' or 'coast 12' as it saves you having to go into every listing and read. Also use the size option provided by e bay, but you can't beat a simple search.

I know it sounds really spoilt doesn't it - especially as I am still slightly in shock at the way I calmly spent that money. BUT a lot of my work is with vulnerable young people, and if you don't have a mobile you don't ever hear from them. Simple as that.

But still...
