you do need to tell the bank you know nothing of the debit and you want it refunding. Tell them to investigate the fraudulent transaction.

If you have not spent the money, then you should not have to pay it. Definitely raise a dispute, £1000 is a lot of money to go without, you need to persue the matter with your card provider.

Good Luck and let us know how you get on.

Can you not contact your bank and say it was a fraudulent transaction?

They say they cannot act after 100 days, have written again for help.

The bank will not act after 100 days, they have no information on this company. I will keep searching. My debit card details were used to take the money. I have to have given some company these details but as I said clueless as I had never heard of them til now.
  • Hi

I can see this thread has been inactive for a while, but in case you never figured it out...

I make payments to LloydsTSB collections for a LTSB credit card that I set up a repayment agreement for. The repayments to Lloyds show up on my bank account statement as "ccs rb collections westcliff on sea"

    Hope that helps.
