icequeen you are lucky! it is one thing i am not prepared to risk if im honest as is not really that old so ide be gutted if i ruined it and dh would never forgive me! plus if they shrunk a bit we wouldnt have got them on as hard enough with this one!0

I understand completely,, my heart was in my mouth as my washing machine was doing the load with my covers in,, scary! mine not very old either but having pets and children spillages do happen. I do it quite regular now and it's fine still. One thing you could have tried,,if you found a cushion cover the same material etc give it a go in the machine and see how it turns out, or possibly go to wherever you purchased it and see if they have a free sample of the material you could have and test that,,just an idea xxx0

Hi thanks for the reply..i do have a spare bit of material but only smallish and wasn't sure it would be a good enough test so left it! also another thing i wondered was how well the zips would cope as thats another big expence if it goes wrong! now just have to find time to get all the covers off and get them over to the shop!0
