Do Barclays do a credit check for a business account?

So, i have heard that barclays dont do a credit check for their business accounts, does anyone know if this is true?

All banks offering a business current account will do a credit check.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

If you have a personal account with the bunch of monkeys dont have a business account, once you do they are a night mare0

Natwest offer a basic business account which may be suitable, if you have a few blemishes....

Hi there, if you're not sorted with Barclays, I've just opened a foundation business account with Natwest. I've already got a Step account with them, and it took a whole 9:48 on the phone to do checks and open the account. I even got my new sort code and account number. If you're a new start up they waive the fees for two years also.0
