didnt do this last week so here is this weeks goals:
try and have three no spend days
another week of no tumble dryer usage
count up and pay piggybank savings off overdraft
do budget for juneNovember NSD's - 70 -
I have really slipped with my goals & MSE generally this last week or so, just so busy at work (year end plus a merger) that I just collapse in a big heap at the first opportunity.
So back to basics with my goals this week
Shopping - aim for £50 per week
Lunches - always take food to work, not buy it !
Monitoring - Load MS Money & start using it.
Exercise - Foot has stopped hurting even though no sign of awaited op - so start increasing exercise sensibly. (stop using the lift but no jogging yet)
Cooking -Make more treats for children. When I'm too busy we just get dinner, no flapjacks etc - must try harder.

Last week...
3 no spend days ( In until Weds so should be OK as everything here is on expenses)- DONE!
List 10 books on Amazon - DONE!
Phone existing loan company to see what early payment fee is so I can transfer it to better loan rate - Not done yet but have found the paperwork
Only spend £20 on food shopping - Spent 30 on big shop for next 2 weeks
Find out about mortgage PPI as I'm not sure what I pay and if I get do it cheaper - FAILED
Next week -
not to spend anything extra on food including lunches
Sort out mortgage PPI
Only spend 10 quid between now and Friday0 -
1. Finish ironing - never ending (finished this morning - got to do this weeks now, but should be able to keep up now)
2. Complete training manual for freelance work (NO - but this is important - am going to do tomorrow)
3. Update money software with money spent since Jan 06 - Almost, bigger job than i expeceted. Should finish today or tomorrow)
4. Finalise budget for next six months (yes done this - pleased with myself)
5. Survive till payday with £20 (not an easy task - no food in cupboards or petrol in car) - easier than i thought, got paid two days ealier than expected.
This weeks
1. Go jogging three times this week.
2. Keep up not slouching in front of tv every night.
3. Write to Bank of scotland re charges
4. Wrtie to Job Centre to complain
5. Start a spending diary

Go to the gym twice Not done. I'm going to cancel membership and pay as I go - I've not been well enough to go lately
Eat no chocolate (should have been a goal last week but wasn't, even so I didn't eat any) Done:j

This week I want to:
Cancel gym membership and standing order:o
Eat no chocolate - 3rd week
Cancel paper delivery - saving about £4 per week on delivery. Will pick paper up on way to work.0 -

1. Sort Governors p/w Done
2. Do filing Done
3. Do meal plan!!! Done
4. No shopping at all, possibly petrol Done and no petrol
5. Find £172.09 shortfall in savings account Done
6. Balance above account at end of April Done
7. Chase o/s babysitting money Done and got paid most of it
8. Stop smoking on Monday Done
9. Clear my bed of Ebay stuff so that I can sleep in it at last NOT DONE
10. List 5 items on Ebay NOT DONE
Very pleased with what I achieved last week, especially the smoking...7 days today!
This week:
Clean all downstairs windows inside and out (with Stardrops if I can get it)
Clear and sort bed - must do this
Clean lounge carpet/curtains - avoid hiring equipment and drycleaners!
Shopping <£20
Shopping for garden bits etc <£30
Week 2 No smoking0 -
My goals for last week were:-
1. Essential food shopping only:- Done
2. No take-aways or eating out:- 1 chips takeaway, 1 eat out
3. Don't use tumble drier:- Done
4. Don't use dishwasher:- Done
5. De-clutter ready for car-boot:- Done
6. Wash car (by hand):- Done
7. Be daring and list a book on amazon:- Looked but most of the books I wanted to sell, others were selling for 1p so not going to make much
8. Walk instead of paying for car parks: Done
9. Search for a suitable job, and apply if I see one!: Looked but have not seen anything very well suited to me
10. Do coursework assignment, and email all the people I need to get in touch with!:- Done
11. Decide on a friends birthday present: Done and bought MIL present too.
Additional goals for this week, as well as 1,2,3,4,8,9,10 above again :
a. Go for walks every evening if weather is dry
b. Do carboot on sunday (if dry)
c. Plant vegetable seeds
d. Eat healthily and try and lose at least 2lb

goals last week were....
1, No shopping till Friday except essentials - achieved
2, Sort out wood for vegetable patch. erm must do that next week
3, Week 7 no smoking. achieved
4, 3 no spend days - only achieved 1 need to get stronger again
5, List 10 books on Green Metropolis or Amazon - achieved but only listed on green metropolis and nothing has happened
and for next week......
1, sort out wood for veggie patch
2, week 8 no smoking
3, list the 10 books on green metropolis on amazon too
4, MUST DO DECORATING ON MONDAY !!!!!
5, Submit Aprils expenses on time

- Contact nursery re. ds place

- email work about return date
- plan weeks meals
