    Hello everyone

I had an awful week last week, I don't think I achieved any of my goals. I haven't been well and have got a big tube hanging out of my arm (IV line, sorry if too much information!), my drugs don't work (that's a song isn't it??) and I feel like poo!! Therefore I hope it's not cheating if I just scrap last week's goals and start afresh this week

My goals for this week are:

    1. Get another voucher towards my present fund.
    2. Get another 2 mystery shopping jobs.
    3. Complete the training for AQA and get started earning straight away.
    4. Join the £2 coin savers club and get £10 (already got £6!)
    5. Aim to get £50 towards paying off Alliance & Leicester loan.

That will do this week. I start back at work full-time again and having the use of one arm really does take it out of you!!

Best of luck with your goals everyone!!

    Morning!

    Last weeks were:

    1. Close shares account - Yep done and they've taken the charge off too, so don't have to pay either.
    2. 4 no spend days - Yes, just!
    3. Something fun and free tomorrow - Not yet, but local paper should throw something up.
    4. File paperwork - Yes, lots done, more to do!
    5. No Smoking (week 4) - Yes, achieved!

    This week:

    1. Repair hems (got Wilko Wonderweb equiv) of 4 pairs of suit trousers
    2. Repair light fitting. Long story, broke the bulb holder trying to put in energy saving light-bulb, which led to needing right sized screwdriver, which has now led to needing pliers/wire covering cutters! :rotfl: Wilko's to the rescue!
    3. Keep with no smoking (week 5)
    4. No tumble dryer use (just once last week)
    5. 3 no spend days

    Have a good week everyone!

Hi everyone and good luck for this week. Ehallett.....it's perfectly understandable why you had a bad week! Good luck for this week.

    My goals last week were:

    1. Only spend money midweek on fresh veggies needed and prescription needed. Failed big style however my purchases were things I needed anyway and I got them through QuidCo to make some money back so all is not lost.
    2. Try & get lifts to & from work all week or at least till PayDay (Thursday). Done - all week, no bus needed. Hooray!
    3. Am going out Saturday for a friend's 40th birthday meal. Budget £25 includes £15 for food and getting there/back/drinks. Tough budget. Maybe I will drive. I drove and spent £20.
    4. Get some exercise!!! Had some walks at lunchtimes every day - some longer than others. Still not really good enough though.

    This weeks goals are:

    1. Again, try to get exercise.
    2. Have at least three no spend days (apart from bus fare if needed - I can't do much about that!)
    3. Do some searching/clicking to earn pennies & points via QuidCo & Pigsback
    4. Do not use tumble dryer.
    5. Search for cheap ways to get to Holland in October.
    6. Transfer any money that makes its way into my account through QuidCo or Amazon sales etc into separate account to pay for concert ticket I have booked on VISA card - this must be paid off immediately whe bill comes in!
Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
    Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Ok, goals for last week were:

Make lunch at home every day apart from friday treat (as usual). Almost - had one extra lunch out with friend but only cost £2.40 :j

Tidy and sort my room - dispose of unwanted stuff in appropriate way (bin, charity shop, freecycle, ebay).Nope, not done at all. :(

Spend more vouchers when shopping (still some left) Even better - sold £20 worth to my dad for cash :j

Watch dvds from screenselect, then cancel account and return asap to avoid getting charged.Yep, done!

When on essential trip to Ikea ONLY buy what I'm going for (two small cushions - 60p each and a big pack of tealights). This could be hard - Ikea is a dangerous place to go! Ooooh... almost :o  :rotfl: I bought the cushions, the tealights and two tea light holders - not so bad!!

Buy ink cartridges online to get the best price - need them next week!Yep, done, just waiting for them to arrive.

Post subscription form for magazine (one with loads of the kind of jobs I want to apply for!). Get a £2 discount for using direct debit so do this!Yep, done!

Ok, so some goals for this week:

Take packed lunch on long journey to avoid price of motorway services food. (oh yes regulars, its back to the long journeys for me! :rotfl: ) Perhaps allow one coffee :o

Investigate the advertised "10 item free listing week" on ebay - apparently only for 'eligible' members but it doesn't say what that means  Haven't got an email about it so not holding out any hope but who knows!!

Going back to living on my own (have been with parents for best part of a month) so get back into the routine of cheap and healthy food shopping. Make a meal plan, then a shopping list, then stick to it!

    Do mystery shopping jobs - that'll be a £20 bonus :j

    Think that's all for now.

Have a good week everyone :D
