It's a sign of what sort of company they are if they are prepared to use an emotive word like "guarantee" to get sales with no intention of honouring it. And that's before you've got tied in to them as a customer!

    IM FURIOUS!!!

I have sent three emails to mobiles.co.uk cancelling my order, and asking for confirmation that no monies are owed and I won't be stuck in an O2 contract....what do they send me......."your order has now been dispatched", as if they,ve ignored my emails! (They all come/go to the same email address) Arrrrghhh

I should have listened to you mse'ers......I'm now spending a fortune on their 'lets not pick up the phone, just laugh at the customers' number, 25 mins on hold and counting.........

ETA: 1 hour 7 mins on hold

I think its slightly unfair to slate them like this - not every order can be cancelled straight away. Ok the order was not sent out - not everything can be done so quick especially with a laptop as a free gift.

Just dont use the phone and return it within 14 days if you dont want it. PS I got the Lg cookie myself, gonna cost me peanuts over 12 months after cashback.
  • All I want is confirmation that it can be cancelled with no cost to me and no O2 contract! I've just received a 'welcome' email from O2 to add fuel to the fire! Compared to other companes, I'm sorry, they are completely incompetent.....

1 hour 11 mins on hold now, and no reply to my emails....hmmm funny how they replied instantly when I was making a purchase.....

And to say 'guaranteed next day delivery if you order before 5pm', then email to say orders need to be in a few hours before 5pm to be processed ...that's a JOKE right?

  • I see Mr Representative is keeping a low profile today.....

Can't comment on the 5 o'clock guarantee (I guess they should do that) but I normally allow a day for things like mobiles to be delivered.

PM the rep and explain but as long as you do not use the phone, you have nothing to worry about  - you have already emailed them which should ask for a return process. Wait till they reply or the rep replies.

You wont have anything to worry about as long as you do not use anything they send you. :rotfl:- send back as it turns up, dont even open anything.
