Boiler quote but not VAT registered - Implications?

    Basically you'll save on the cost of VAT on his labour, and any mark-up he charges on the parts he supplies. He'll still be paying VAT on the items he buys to do your job (pipe, boiler, cable, etc), which will just be passed on to you in his costs.

    As above, no problem with all this and should make no odds on the job he does or its legality. :)
