Ok...Brick Lane is in Aldgate...you can walk to Aldgate from Tower of London or you can get a tube there. Brick Lane is a couple of minutes walk from Aldgate station.

There is a 40% off food voucher that you can print off. The discount does not apply if you take your own alcohol though.

  • Hi FirstTimer4Me,

If you're going to eat at Waterloo, don't forget to pick up a Bite Discount Card (www.bitecard.co.uk). It gives you 20% off food and drink at most places at the station.
If you want to eat a bit more upmarket, I managed to get a free month's pass at TasteLondon. I'm not sure if they've still got this special offer on (apologies if not) but you can check their website and it has a whole host of restaurants dotted all over London. Depending on the restaurant, you can get 2 meals for the price of 1, or 50% off your bill.

Another way I would approach this is decide where in London you are going to go (Leicester Square, Chinatown etc). Then check Martin's list to see which foodie places are currently doing deals. If you like Prezzo, for example, check the location of them from their website and then google it so you can get directions (saves you having to buy a London A-Z).

Apologies of this all sounds long-winded but it's the way I do it and have definitely saved money!
