  • I would keep an eye open for the restaurant deals on this site - 2 for 1 etc.
There are lots of JD Wetherspoon pubs in London and their food is reasonably priced.
Does your hotel in Paddinton include breakfast? If not, there is a caff called Raffles in Craven street. We had 2 all day breakfasts, including coffee for £8.

no sure what you mean do you mean for places for eating or places for visiting?
  • I meant which places do you intend visiting....so that I can try and think of places to scoff in and around those areas.

Eg...cheap curry in Brick Lane or fish and chips by the river thames etc.

    hey thanks for the help

were going to be visitng places like madam tusards, tower of london, a trip along the river we'd like to try a curry and fish n chips and but worried about the prices.
  • Ok...just across the road from the Tower of London there is a Wetherspoon pub called (I think) The Liberty Bounds....the food is the usual pub fayre and the prices are reasonable. There is also a Pizza Express a couple of yards away.

You can walk to Aldgate (or hop on the tube) for curry in Brick Lane. Loads of places to eat there at very reasonable prices.

Will add more ideas as I think of 'em.

do we walk to aldgate then get the tube from aldgate to brick lane?
  • Ok...Brick Lane is in Aldgate...you can walk to Aldgate from Tower of London or you can get a tube there. Brick Lane is a couple of minutes walk from Aldgate station.
