Teaching Degree - Depression

I was up nice and early this morning chasing a couple of courses.
First call was a big disappointment. The 2 year course with QTS, was closed, and the actually course started today.
Second call was a big disappointment. The PGCE in the other course that I was going to try and get on was closed. The website had not been updated.
Third call was hopeful. It was back to call one, enquiring about a flexible PGCE, which apparently start quite regularly in IST, with it being a shortage subject. Spoke to admissions. My Maths and English are okay. My degree 'could' be okay, with this being a flexible course. I can apply from Wednesday onwards. I have been in touch with my old University asking for a reference,in order to get in there straight away. Emailed 2 local schools asking for permission to obverse classes. No reply yet!!
So signs of promise but a long way to go.
