    Whilst this may be true this OS is being targeted now that MS have improved their OS. See this.

    Yes Sygate is good (whilst it was updated) but as it has been bought by Symantec and there won't be another version (already mentioned), hackers will soon be able to bypass Sygates' users firewall and you will won't be as protected anymore. :( IMO you're better off trying to get a firewall that will get updated when a new version is released so that you are better protected as hackers will easily exploit older and outdated firewall/security systems.

    There will always be people trying to hack into any OS. But OSX is very robust, being that it is built on the UNIX platform.
